Yeah I was certainly weighing it up myself, I won't be spending much time away from the bike and the reduced weight would certainly be welcome.
I probably will take It off tbh, and use 2 cable locks (hold the brooks/wheels/frame.
equally I don't need that large a saddle bag either, but it's the only one I have large enough to hold my waterproofs/tools/food etc
If the weather is good I may even go without the waterproofs then I can use a much smaller saddlepack I have
