I also want similar thing.

tighter gear is great to have, but the range would be lovely, only way is having a compact (46/30) with a 12-27t cassette that'll give me almost as much range as a hybrid.

I have the same range as the forementioned 48.36.26 with 11-32 cassette. But continuous, without a gap in gears*.

There may have been a slight massive weight penalty though.

(*not achieving full overdrive at the moment i think. But a bit more tinkering and I will)
