I presume Wendy H is retiring because she is certainly burning her bridges, and making it very personal. If she is that generally that abrasive and even arrogant as she comes across in that interview you can she why she wasn't a preferred member of that team. There are plenty of people that have contributed to the success of the team that don't get medals, don't get the adulation or the newspaper inches and are just happy to be a part of it (coashes, soigneurs etc). Shame she is being so bitter, doesn't exactly endear her to us.
Laura Trott was amazing in the Omnium, riding an incredible devil and scratch race. She's like the baby-faced killer, looks so sweet but an absolute demon on a bike.
Loved the slo-mo montages the Beeb put together at various points (at least on catch up on the puter). Generally I thought the coverage and photography was excellent. Just a shame it is all over
