I've been reading up more on shift cable and seen that some people who use the shimano brifters (like mine) that have the shift cables coming out the inside, side of the lever, still route the cable down their handlebars, having a small loop out the shifter and then into the bartape with the brake cables,
is this advisable? it looks alot nicer IMO but i also won't be able to cross the cables over on the down tube which seems to also be advised..
