i didn't see the name you posted, but it's basically not important. i know there are athletes who dope, i've read plenty of books about it (recommend Positive by Werner Reiterer), this is not in dispute.

my issue is with ridiculous blanket statements like this:

Plus who gives a shit, they all do gear to one degree or another, all of them, anyone at that level pretty much HAS to if they want to stay competitive.

• it's a vindictive argument that is impossible for the athletes to defend themselves against, while basically harming the reputation of anyone who steps on a track.
  
• it's demonstrably false.
  

Fair play that was a bit unfair, guess you can't tar them all with the same brush, just a lot of them.

I don't feel sorry for "her" at all. Her mother knew she was a hermaphrodite, but thought that just keeping quiet about it was ok. In the make-over that Semnaya had, she admitted that she had NEVER bought clothes for herself, as her mother had always done it. Wasn't this odd, that as a growing teenager, her mother wouldn't take her in shops to try on clothes in very public changing rooms? I think it was always known, but thought that it could be kept secret.

Holy shit. I can't imagine how hard dealing with all of this played out in the worldwide media would be. I feel incredibly sorry for her and wish her nothing but the best.
