The other more expensive vesion I used is Gordy's Camera Strap;
http://www.gordyscamerastraps.com/
Have them all of my camera, I liked them because they look classy and quite strong.
That's my next plan, just need some suitable leather

I had my Gordy for five years, I liked them because they're a very simple construction and last for age.
Another one is this, extremely strong;

if you email Richard at ApertureUK
He will keep the next on he gets for you. Shame one just went last week, but then do come about fairly often. They don't come cheap though.

Thanks Kboy for the link to the VSCO ap. If Apple adds an even better camera to the iphone 5 I really can see it replacing my compact.

I haven't posted anything anywhere other than pics of my baby on Facebook for ages. Here are a couple from my recently-acquired X100. Colour shots straight out of camera jpegs; B&W are RAWs processed in LR3. I think the camera is going to be a grower. Already love the size and fixed lens/FOV, and the sensor is wonderful - at 3200 the noise is so much 'nicer' than my D300, and maybe even D700 - but I'm not nailing focus or exposures enough yet. I'm determined to eventually have enough confidence in my settings and technique to shoot jpeg only, as I really want this to be a shoot->upload->print camera.

^ lovely shots pal
I tend to shoot jpeg & raw, with jpeg set to b/w and raws incase I need colour. I'm in the same boat as you, jpegs are so fantastic it's so easy to just keep em to upload/print.

Anyone here know anything about corrupted sd cards?
Ive a 16gb and a 32gb card which have both gone belly up on me.Not reading on any computer or laptop.Had them in my wallet for a week or two,they were fine before that.
Thnig is,I also have an electronic keycard in my wallet which I use at work.So I fear I may have been slowly frazzling the cards every time I swiped the wallet!Doh. -

What SD card are you using?
In my experience, cheap one tend to perform badly and the expensive one (high write/read speed, reliable, etc.).

Has anyone used both the G12 and S95? Or any strong recommendations as for what to downsize from a 5D to? Having rinsed dpreview and the like, I seem to be attracted to the G12 or Nikon P7100, but then would quite like the bigger aperture...
