  • ...then read the Bikeradar review which said they were made out of wobble and twist.

    Y u no like jelly?

  • New Merckx 525

  • meh, there are no merckx bikes anymore

  • Wrong - Eddie may no longer have sole ownership, but they are still damn good bikes

  • Fiddy dorrah, sucky-fucky?

    And tramp juice!

    Dibs.

  • If you have a problem choosing the frame, stick with the one you have.

    Another pearl of wisdom...

  • More suggestions the better at this point- I don't want to overlook something.

Those BMC's look like absolute weapons [/Pistanator], very cool.

    Nicest looking aero bike?

  • Look 695 Mondrian?

  • Ridley Noah Fast

  • That's lovely, but four grand.

  • Mondrian is 2.5k! Tbh the Boardman is cracking value, always liked the look of it

  • I like the look of the Mondrian, however how would I measure how much power I'm not producing?

  • All i can say is I'm glad I didn't become emotionally invested in this thread.

Given the new fishing expedition you could become financially invested.

  • Trying to work out what you mean James, but if it is what I think- T-V is quite a bit taller than me, he'd need a 60cm frame.

  • who cares about fit, when you could have a piece of forum history

  • Next step: get a Brompton and turn it into a TT rigs.

  • You have a very good point, James.

    Your pedals.

I can see this doing circles untill you return to the Dale EVO.

  • Look 695 Mondrian?

anything from LOOK would be good.

  • Well there are definitely no Cannondale Evo Di2 frames left for 2012, and given Cannondales reputation for bringing in frames mid year I may have to park that idea.

  • I've been thinking about this overnight, and maybe what I should do is to stick a cheap second hand power meter on my cross bike to train with over winter, then see what the market is like for road frames at the start of 2013.

New, shiny toys are always very seductive, but I'd hate to build (say) a Venge, and then just not get on with it.

I do love the way my System Six rides.

    Argh!

Come spring 2013, bikeradar classifieds will have some available at half rrp!

  • anything from LOOK would be good.

But what bars would you put on it, spotter?

  • I think if we are looking at the business of marginal gains then I would gain a greater margin training with power in the winter.

  • Use the thought of a shiny new frame next year as an incentive to put in the miles over the Winter! Works in theory*.

    • I should do it myself!
