  • I could really do with an auto right now.

Who can robotise my clutch, today, for cucumber sandwiches and tea?

  • Just shift clutchless pusssioo

  • Pulling away using the starter motor tends to wear parts heavily when in a 1,500kg vehicle.

  • Well just use clutch for first? And when you see a traffic light turn red slow down and inch ur way towards its so u never stop?

  • How lumpy is your cam...? That could turn into some sort of lurch forward, pause, lurch forward scenario.

  • Standard turbo cams, I have some NA cams but they are sat in a box in the garage waiting to go in.

  • I'm off today with a mate but will be up for attending Tuesday evening as well. What time we meeting?!

  • That VSCC Norfolk Run was really cool. Civilised cruising in classy cars. I want a pre-war sports car.

The most expensive (and one of the nicest):

    The prettiest:

    My favourite:

    Can you name them?

  • Bugatti type 35
    Lagonda V12
    Riley MPH

  • good work (although its a type 37)
you would have loved it there yesterday, niall.

  • Those Lagondas are delicious.
Engine designed by W. O. Bentley.

  • yeah - we couldn't believe that this one was bodied by lagonda - looks so french.

  • A few more:

This thing was on bike carbs/engine management etc! divided opinion, but was so, so fast.

    This is beautiful

as was this, but i didn't like the chrome wires

    i'll stop now

  • Great photos BRM. Looks like a good day out.
When opening the thread, my pisspoor connection made the first pic come out like this

so I was wondering what kind of a VSCC meeting let a 205 in...

Whats the thing on management and what engine was it running?

  • AskMid has it as a Talbot 75 special.
    Google reveals its sale ad

    200bhp
It's lush. Has the look of a mk2 Aston Martin about it.
    2nd is a Talbot-Lago T120 Baby Sport.
Last one is an AC Greyhound

  • Wow. It used to look like this

  • Amazing. 200bho in that would be great fun! I like the look of it better sans wings but it's a lovely looking thing either way!

Went to the BMW Art Car exhibition this afternoon. Great stuff, especially the competition cars. Just found out my dad is delivering a car down to Chelsea on Tuesday and is coming to stay on Tuesday night so going to take him along.

  • war wounds

  • Looks like a scale model.

  • 2CV rod from Olli Erkkila.

Looks like it could be rather fast. Still ugly though

  • Campagnolo Countach Anniversary wheels look quite odd with those curves.

  • You could get Dragway wheels (Indys?) that were similar and looked great on muscle cars. Not sure if they were US or Ausso.
