Olympic Games Lanes

Cones in the middle of the junction have now been re-arranged into "lanes"

But still looks f'in dangerous - non Olympic traffic at a standstill/blocking the cycle lane (as always happens here with heavy traffic) but Olympic traffic sweeping past @ speed.

FFS be v careful.

Now totally coned off again, police stopping cycles and telling them to walk across the eastern ped crossing...

Me: Why should we? There's a cycle lane specially created...
Policeman: People were getting run over.
Me: Why don't they [olympic cars etc] stop on red then?
Policeman: shrugs TFL innit.

I should have asked him why they weren't nicking people for it and/or tfl for encouraging criminal behavior/etc. Instead I settled for giving the finger to various olympic cars blocking the ped crossing and calling one a cunt.
