I think it's nice to have a far out one every so often, so if the weather is nice and someone wants to do a decent length ride they can do that as well as play tag.
Also, some people on here do live pretty far out of London so epically far away for an Islingtonite such as myself might be 10 minutes down the road for someone who lives further out, as much as a cluster of west tags might be frustrating to someone who lives and works in east. It's all part of the game, you've just got to be patient and wait for one that's perfect for you.

So, where the hell is Aveley anyway?
On the subject of churches, some of them are very interesting buildings, but usually only once you go inside. From the outside they all look pretty much the same (usually because they were 'restored' by the same Victorian architects). So without clues of some other reference in the photo to give you an idea of which particular church a photo is, you can only get the tag if you actually recognise the church, which can bring the game to a halt.
On the subject of distance I think the Paris one should have stood. I was tempted :-)
All that matters is that you found a place that you think is cool. -

Phew.
I think M25 is about right. The unnatural border of this City State.

I like the new tag. A brief search suggests it is within the N&S Circulars too!

Yeah ... new tag is purdy ....

...Is Norwood/ Anerly out of bounds? I agree with the comment that it's good to have one a bit of a way out of london every now and then.....
I can't help feeling that Polka Dot's subsequent 'Six O'Clock Dead' tag may be the one for you...

Gosh darn it - just back from a ride through some of London's more "interesting" areas. There are probably some nice roads to cycle on round there, but I couldn't find them. Still, the sun was shining so a good opportunity to work on that farmer's tan:
Still, I have a good pre-tag (which I think is valid as this was a genuine tagging effort?) for the next time I am mirculously free on a weekday morning

Hope it wasn't your massive piece of chewing gum I stepped in outside the gate!
You may well have beaten me to it - I was there around 0920 or so.
I had quite a pleasant ride - Wood St, Whipps Cross Rd and then down to the docklands via Barking Rd.

The old tag is called the "London Booster", btw. The videos look quite impressive, I thought.

Tagalicious day today!
Anyone going to tag the torch relay while it is central? The ideal moving tag (and you can find out exactly where it is live online) ....
The challenge is on!!

^ Good idea!
^^ Yes, sorry I didn't mention that. I wanted to get a better shot of the design center in the background and the sign next to the bus but there were too many people milling about

Ha! No I hope not, unless I have time travelling gum - I didn't get there till 10.30ish.
Hope they're not too bemused at the temple by the sudden influx of cyclists coming to take pictures of their bikes infront of the gates
Yeah I did Barking Rd>A13>Bike route down Royal Mint St, so it got better as I went on, but plenty of gormless peds to keep me on my toes
