On a point of information, neither Sky nor Murdoch nor News International own the cycling team. Sky sponsor them and British Cycling. If Sky left as sponsor there would be others willing to buy into the success. Just yesterday Branson tried to jump on the band wagon by saying he would love to sponsor them. Having won, the team are worthy a massive amount in sponship. Money begets money.
