I prefer the classic shape of the Cinelli stem. Also aren't some of the other components milky rather than shiny? (Headset? What about the seat post?)
Just for an idea on old school bars with modern shifters (I know it's SRAM but...) here's my 1A/Campione del Mondo set-up. [edit... with "milky" Stronglight headset!]
