Very nice Concorde Nutjesmoar, flite looks better on it too.
very nice retrospective, however i have to say, i quite prefer the very first "guise"
Yep, I'll have to agree with that. It definitely was an elegant bike. Unfortunately it got converted to a fixed gear shortly after... oh well. If my sis doesn't need it anymore I might make a classic French build out of it.

Raised out of the GT Gutter(ball), my new commuter, almost finished, though I'm having second thoughts about the bars, so may change them. I know th chain's slack, waithing for some Sturmey Archer serrated washers to arrive so I can properly secure the S2 hub.

My rim saga continues. I've tried to order Mavic TN 317's twice now. First time they turned up damaged, so had to send them back and they were then out of stock. I then bought from CRC who claimed to have them in stock, but alas they refunded and said they weren't.
I'm considering some Velocity A23's now, but I can't seem to find them in stock at the few places I've found (tokyo fixed for instance). Can anyone advise where I might find some? (or some TN 317's).

Also, I've found these guys pretty good price wise, although it is €6 for postage, the savings on the conversion rate the euros to pounds can make it cheaper to buy from Germany! (usually works best with higher cost orders) -

The lovely Digger fitted my new cranks today as I seem to have a skill of fucking up extraction threads when taking old cranks off.
I'll get some better slave style pics when the Jet Stream finally heads north over the weekend/next week/never.
Lovely build. What kind of mud guard is that? Suits the rest of the bike perfectly.

That any help? They're the first place I bought the rims from and had problems with. To be fair to them, their customer service was excellent, and after sending them a few photos were more than happy to refund me fully (and arranged courier collection at their cost). I can't fault them on that.

So, this is mine! Going to keep the frame ratty but build it up with nice shiny chrome parts for the heck of it, then respray it one day.
I have a good idea of what parts I'm going for, wheels off my bob, thinking of going for sram ominiums silver with black chainring or sugino 75s. going with bullhorns i think...
Just never looked into threadless headsets and stems, what would people recommend i'd like the 'quill' look...

^^ Wow, I'm surprised, I've never had any problems with them.
Try the German store.

Those are hella deep. Your drop is going to be mad - are you going to be riding on a track? Fuck that ^ for street riding, no matter how sexy it looks.
I believe this build is only for the track.
I maybe wrong but a lot of TRACK bikes I see sport +ve rise stems and look nothing like the fodder posted for porn.

Just ordered the TN 317's from Tredz... With the 10% discount code they have at the mo (WIGGWON) it bought them down to £25 each, and free shipping. Let's hope they turn up :)
Aende is nice :) Has the paint been removed from those areas due to repairs?

Try calling Brick Lane Bikes and see what they have. Also look at the Dyad - similar to the A23, but a 24mm and a little heavier should be c£40-5 per rim.
Cheaper option is rigida. Also there are some really wide Sun rims... I can't remember what they are, but they're a bit older, in grey ano and renouned for being really tough, albeit a little heavy. I think they're on Amazon somewhere for cheap.

Cheers for that Hugo, but I ordered the TN 317's from Treadz a few moments ago. Fingers crossed they arrive safely :)
Next problem is drilling out a stuck bolt on one of my hope hubs :(

I just got some of these
They look a little faux soccer boots, no?
-
• #64425
^^ oh yeah. Sorry didn't refresh.
Fingers crossed they come through this time.
If not take it as fate and upgrade to some Stan's on bling hubs.
Despite the two different bottle cages yours is much nicer!
slightly better picture, still pissed of there is no good camera around :(
This time I took the Flite from my Look.
