    Fair enough, I often run before breakfast up to a half marathon so it is possible.

    As Ewan says a drink is better generally as it mostly avoids gi upset, my stomach is so sensitive I can even manage manly energy drinks and go for the light versions just for a few calories but mostly water.

    Give a few things a try but it's good to run on low energy of you're planning on going further as there is no way to replace alll the calories burned so eventually you'll end up running burning fat,mwhich takes some getting used to!
