Tour de France 2012

Some PR company emailed and asked if anyone from the office can get to Paris ASAP because there's a spot for dinner at the US embassy and then a seat next to the finishing line. I'm at a Jane Eyre museum with the missus instead, because I'm a prat who doesn't listen properly when asked questions. FML.

"Sorry honey, very important job on at work, my job is at risk if I miss it. I'm so upset that I cannot go with you kthnxbai!"

You need to say something along those lines.
