This is obviously completely theoretical.

If Britain decided that we should fall in line with the rest of the civilised world and drive on the right, how would it be done?

Would there be a certain time at which everyone suddenly had to change lanes (like in Wee Britain), or would they close all roads for a day, or would they do it region by region?

I love the idea of huge, sweeping changes like that. I can't wait for the queen to die so suddenly all our coins are out of date.

You would also need to convert all your shitty British cars to LHD.

So, my helmet straps are too long. I need to cut them. Last time I tried, I used scissors and used a lighter to try to tidy up the fraying. Ended up with a melted pile of plastic and styrofoam and severe damage to my lungs.

I'm thinking about putting a knife on the hob til it's red hot and carving through.

Is there any technique to this?
