Not got my bike yet but as I live in London (well Bromley) locks are one of the first things I'm investing in.
My current idea for a combination is:
Kryptonite 3000 or fug mini or Abus Granit 54
Pitlocks or Pinlocks
For a long time I was interested in:
Almax series 3 chain & Padlock
Pitlock or Pinlocks
I got a bit put off by the supposed weight of the Almax chains, does anyone have one and would you guys recommend them over my current option?
The idea of the Pinlock or Pitlocks was to avoid needing the weight of a second lock plus 2 d-locks wont secure the seat/forward anyway, is this suitable/enough?
Which would be the better option out of pitlocks or pinlocks?
I hope to be getting this bike in the next few weeks:
Buying from Germany seems to be £210 cheaper than buying from the UK so I figure the money I save can help with added security, I really hate the idea of someone nicking my bike, I'm looking forward to getting it so much.
