When Boardman broke the hour record for the second time, using the now banned 'superman' position, I told a friend about it in the pub, detailing how far he'd ridden.
"What was his average speed?" asked my friend.

People still ask me how long I ride for.

"Well, it's actually 8 hours and then I have dinner and go to bed and then finish with a short spurt around 2 hours the next day before tucking in to some tea and scones"
