^ the spectator went to the team hotel after the stage to apologise and Guerini was totally cool about it. He was looking through the camera which made him totally misjudge Guerini's speed.
Guerini invited the guy in to meat some of the team and got him a signed jersey, as winning the stage was going to make him famous, but winning after an incident like that more than doubled the value!
to win on Alpe d Huez is the ultimate stage or possibly Paris, maybe for a British rider Mont Ventoux although they only did the Time trial in 87 I would like to see a Mountain time trial every yr
