Please clarify. Your GP shouldn't have injected the patella tendon with steroid, certainly not as a first line treatment as there is a potential rupture risk in weight bearing tendons. They may have injected around it or done other things like a bursal injection which is often very effective but may not address the cause of symptoms.

No idea where was injected as I wasn't watching as I have a fear of needles. But had a few stabbing pains and have a dressing to remove tomorrow. The dressing is taped on gauze.
