What's the advantage of dual side drive? (not moaning, genuinely interested if there is one)
On the bike I posted, the advantage was getting off line faster (low gear) without spinning out at the top end (high gear engages automatically after a few metres) in a Kilo. Not sure if UCI banned changeable gears or people just worked out that the advantage wasn't worth the extra weight and drag.
