I don't know why peoples feel the need to repost that picture! Bad choice of background in hindsight. I guess it is a pretty big jump in hub choice at least, though the rim shades aren't far off. Just sold the profile/velocity wheelset through ebay to a guy who'll be using them for a bamboo demonstration bike. That sounds pretty cool.
Just on the lookout for a set of Cinelli crits now so I can set up the levers/brakes. Annoyingly the Campag brake guides are too small for my top tube but am wondering if I can just get a longer screw to tighten them..? Perhaps a trip down to the hardware store beckons.
Cheers for the comments guys. I am pleased with the wheels, though they are darker than I expected, so am getting used to the look on the bike. I think light gumwall tyres could be an improvement to lighten the bike a little, so may keep an eye out for a nice set of Veloflex tubs that aren't too pricey.
