^ not sure really, A lot of the time, you pay the cash and do what you want with it, IIRC Indurain's Pinarello was built by Dario Pegoretti, who built loads of steel frames for the stars (Pantani too I think) - he charged top dorrah for his frames and his customers stuck whatever stickers they wanted on it - that's business. - Much the same with the FMB tyres - I got those pics from the FMB webpage (they seem pretty proud of the fact)
That said, the "corima" wheels seem a little below the belt!
