I don't think 75 euros is expensive at all, if anything I think tournaments fees should be more expensive, to guarantee good boards, scoreboards, toilets etc... and to make sure that anyone who enters is serious about the sport.
However for the Euros I understand if eastern european teams find it a bit steep, due to the difference of cost of life between their side of europe and ours.
