Your recollection is correct, but 24 hr away from charging is a necessity, and yes previous BB's, torch included, were good on this front.
I'm winding back all the unnecessary buzzes and noises, opting for dark screensavers and lower brightness screens, plus moving all synchs and updates to manual. Up around Newcastle and the border country this week, so I'll see how it copes.
But, as GA2G has said, the ability to take proper notes on the device will do away with small notepads.
There is a Note2 on the horizon, so I'll keep an eye out.
