User manual for Wound Up forks says do not use stems with wedge style clamping mechanism. So I cant use an old thomson elite? Dang where am I gonna get my hhsb vibes now (in silver)
That is bad news indeed. Reckon Wound Ups n old style Thomson is the ultimate HHSB combo.

It's something that I keep asking myself, the bloody concierge was probably sleeping at the time. I saw the CCTV footage a few amours ago, 4 guys for more than 6 minutes at 1:00AM and the concierge hasn't seen anything. It's really REALLY upsetting.
What annoys me most is not even how much money I've lost, it's that I won't be able to do the things I have planned to.

Similar thing happened about 18 months ago at the block of flats that I live in, not my bike but a neighbours, we don't have CCTV but I saw the deed being carried out and chased after the little pricks shouting at them, and watched them bundle the bike into the back of a van.
I immediately phoned the police gave them a detailed description of the perpetrators that I saw, as well as a description of the van, the complete licence plate number, the direction it was heading in AND the address of the victim.
This information was clearly filed under B for bin because the next time I saw my neighbour he said that the police had told him "there is no chance of catching the whoever did this as invariably people never see stuff like this going on" I even gave them the exact time and date of my phone call (from my itemized bill) and they tried to insist that the call never took place.
Moral of the story: even if the concierge at your flats had seen this, the police would not have given a shit.

Moral of the story (alternative): Link us all a copy of the CCTV and if any one sees the fuckers, take em out.

It's not possible to identify the people, you can see the whole action, but it was a rainy evening, so the picture wasn't clear, but the bloody chavs rode the bike in front of the entrance. Pretty useless.
The bloody building fooled me with a false sense of security.

Question. Can a rear Hope Pro 2 MTB hub be spaced down to 130mm? I haven't looked at the hubs in ages so can't remember what the spacing looks like...
-
• #63489
Actually, the frame I'm thinking about may already be 135mm spaced... I'm looking at a Croix de Fer frame set (a few years old). I've just read that they are 135mm spaced but haven't got that confirmed... I'll keep digging.

Stolen: Kuota Kebel (Custom)
Custom built Kuota Kebel/Road Bike was stolen from my balcony on the 1st floor on Webber Street between the hours of 1:00am and 7:00am on 4th of July.
Please, it's quite a unique bike, if you see it, PM me.
Window cleaner? Probably moonlighting on the side. Needs to be out of eyesight. Sorry for your loss.

Heartbreaking. Do you have the frame # in case it appears on fleabay?

First time i've posted in this section, one just finished Gazelle AB frame with 600ex bits.I did have a matching purple brooks colt on it initially but just sitting on it stationary was enough to change my mind, hence the not quite the right colour cinelli saddle!

I do have the frame number, but it's covered on the custom paint if I'm not wrong. So, it might be useless.
