  • Wine box/front rack=done

  • A Rapha team car would look better.

  • Eat more

  • But I can't carry enough food.

    #catch22

  • Ride less, eat more, get fat, buy new jerseys in a bigger size, then re-asses the situation ;)

  • Rapha would like that no doubt. In the meantime their jerseys are relegated to short rides only.

  • At that they'll be crying into their sportswool no doubt

  • A leak would also fit (for the vegetarian, non-smoking catholic).

A leak would be the result of using a leek.

  • Thank you. (corrected)

  • Paul Smith Buycester Village update...

The Rapha rainjacket that I bought 2 weeks ago for £84 is now selling for £42, which is a ridiculously low price for such a well made item. They had them in both purple and black this morning, in M,L and XL.

Another shopping trip with the missus? I'd get a bike if I were you

  • No. It was shopping for me. I must be one of those metrosexuals.

Shiiiiiiii! I need to get to Bicester but it is so far away and I have no way of getting there :-(

  • Could do a forum Zipcar run...

  • Get the train from Marylebone. It goes directly there and it doesn't take long at all.

  • Oh wow only 50 minutes?! Amazing. I will be going next weekend in that case. Will obviously call beforehand to make sure they still have them in stock.

  • My PS jacket is surprisingly sweat-generating in all weathers.

Thank god it wasn't too pricey.

  • If anyone does go, I'd take a rain jacket and reimburse you. Or if I'm free I'd tag along...

  • I went to the Paul Smith shop in BV today and bought the last large rainjacket in stock for £48, apologies to anyone who wanted one. They had one XL and two S purple jackets left if people are still interested. I'd call before you go, though, as they're happy to reserve them for you.

  • heading there tomorrow, will update the thread and let you know what's left!

  • If anyone wants to get that small purple jacket and me to reimburse you, I'd really appreciate it!

  • wanted to go to bicester this morning.. all gone...

  • You'll find them all on eBay.

  • trufax.

  • Apologies if this has been brought up in the thread before (I did try reading through it honest, but the 178 pages beat me.)

Sports Pursuit are currently doing Icebreaker Merino wear on offer. I'm not 100% on how well they are priced (in my experience the sales can be a little hit and miss) but some of it looks to have some nice discounts.

They also currently have sales on women's Gore wear and Pearl Izumi stuff. I've brought stuff from them previously and it seemed fine, but I'll happily admit to not being the canniest shopper.

Just thought it might be useful for people!

P.S. If you do join up, doing it through this link will count as a invitation by me, potentially netting me goodies. As I don't really know anyone here I certainly don't expect anyone to do this and the above link will get you in without any shenanigans but nothing ventured nothing gained!
