Hampstead Heath course is reasonably hilly, as expected. Legs were suffering on the second lap, but I reckon I was on for ~24 min which I'd have been happy enough with.
Only problem was I missed a course marker towards the finish and got a bit lost. Ended up doing a 5.5 mile 5k. The field had got spread out quite a lot by then, and the person I followed must've been some random out for a Sat morning run.
Enjoyed it though, and I've got a decent reason to go back and give it another shot.
Parkrun debut was fun, sort of.
