The hose holders are needed because the frame is designed for cable actuated brakes, though I may get the bosses drilled out in due course.
A stem has been located via the forum - though poss not quite the correct length.
So now I just need to collect the spare STI from a friend, and order some bars and tape.
Oh and the further delay now being suggested by the UK distributor, instead of early July it is now looking like mid August. This is a major hassle as I have been asked to help on a mini tour for some kids with a few difficulties at the beginning of August. This bike would be perfect to take, so really hoping to have it all resolved in time. The idea is lead the children on a longish road ride to a camp site and then do a day of offroad riding, before bringing them back to London.
Howard on here tried to order the same frame last year and was utterly messed around by Hotlines who distribute Lynskey in the UK. He ended up giving up and getting an entirely different frame, just because it looked like Hotlines would never deliver. Thankfully Lynskey have sent an email to the distributor asking them to try to help me get the frame in time.
Given that I may well be using the bike for some proper offroading, can anyone suggest a set of reasonable CX tyres for general purpose off road use?
