  • I did once go for a run on a Friday night after four pints in the pub. Half expected to be chucking my guts up after five minutes but somehow managed eight miles at a reasonable pace.

    Its the morning aftrer thats the worse. You basically piss out any carbs in your system over the night. So your stores drop to near zero.

    Once you start running, and use up your breakfast carbs, you bonk big time.

    Jelly legs, headaches, blurred vision, and screwed balance, were the pleasent side efects I felt when doing a 10km after a big night.
