Slurry lagoon is my guess too. There seems to be a buried pipeline to the nearby buildings, where several smaller lagoons have been constructed in the time between the photos. (It looks like the google image shows the beginning of work on the first lagoon. Possibly this is a result of recent changes in the rules about releasing nitrates.
