I was just thinking of my failsafe idea of taking backup disposable batteries with me on the ride.

I haven't bought it yet, I'm broke as hell this month - new car - and I'm spending my last pounds on a much needed service/investigation on my bike by the LBS. Friday is payday though so will pound the account with a few last minute purchases, light, few energy bars, new bottle cages (all of mine have sheared), and extra tube.

Yeah, I'm taking it easy until payday now. [sheepish grin]
