A TT question...and sorry if there is another thread for this sort of thing, just wondering if anyone else has experienced the same thing.
When i ride short TT s and am going full bore and stay on the tri bars, after about 7 miles i get a loss of feeling in the legs starting in the toes. This seems to be lack of blood as if i get out of the saddle or ride on the tops i feel the blood washing back. Ive tried lots of different saddles and positions and its slightly worse on the lo pro as opposed to a road bike with clip ons. there is restricted blood flow somewhere but i dont think it is in the groin, someone did tell me there are some big arteries around the hip bones, maybe there?
Ive never had this problem on the track, probably the races are too short and never in road races where i guess im in and out of the saddle and the pace is always changing.
Its frustrating having to sit up and have someone youve caught come back past you. Im coming back to a bit of local racing after about 10 years off. Previously i did mostly road and track and didnt bother with TT s much although i can remember it happening a little but its much worse now.
any ideas?
