So I'm not sure yet if I understand it all right. Coppi, is the BMW fine since you removed the oil? Have you had your mechanic to look into this?
Meanwhile, I finally installed my luggages on my bike. Have them since christmas. The frame is not designed for my bike, I had to make some brackets, which is why I never took the time properly before.
It looks a bit ugly when the panniers are not on, maybe I should paint the DYI bracket black, or use nicer bolts with allen key heads, I don't know. For sure I hate the indicators (had to remove the original ones), and I want to find something better (which is why I did not bother too much about the cables running rather untidyly for now) But the frames are solidely attached, these will be so useful!
(not shown here, but I do have a pannier for each sides...)
