    and do you mean contructive reasons regarding on how and what to post on these threads? Surly, bike knowledge wise there is too much 'banter' about to take anything serious. And who are these people that know their stuff? Are we talking professionals here, like Olympic track riders, custom fixie shop owners or long working couriers? Please don't tell me it's the free time amateur who reads a lot of banter infested threads and blogs.

    Anyway, all this is just too post modern. Not taking yourself too serious is wisdom. Not taking anybody else to serious is simply ignorant. You got it right anyhow. Thanks for making me feel somehow welcome.

    I'm guessing you're a doris; how many PM have you had saying stuff like,

    "Don't take it too seriously ;-)"

    and

    "It's just banter. Where do you live? You should come out to beers and see we're not that bad"
