Get a Raspberry Pi and watch your videos off SD card. It has a yellow composite jack for video and a 3.5mm jack for audio.
If you've got a network-shared drive for your media you could even stream all your content to the Pi over a normal network cable.
One Pi is about £30 including VAT and postage.
