This is as close in as they can go when using the supplied shims to sit on the narrow diameter section of the bars:
You can just get them on the over size section, but its actually just on over the edge, and as you try to tighten them down then slide down onto the smaller diameter section:
I'm pretty disappointed in the design to be honest.
Those stoker bars would need a shim to go in my stem, no?
