I'm wondering how long until you
a) change the frame or
b) ride a TT -
• #103
Both good questions!
Intending on the Bexley 10 next week, work permitting.
I'll stick with this frame for now.

absoloutly love this build, the silver and black works really well together... I'm curious has the frame just had its black paint job sanded down? Is there a clear coat applied to it or has it just been left bare?
-
• #105
I don't know how it was stripped- sandpaper and paint stripper I guess- there is black paint left in the welds.
The frame is bare alloy- something which I am going to have to resolve one way or another.
News!
I got some shorter chainring bolts, and then edited my tool to be able to do them up:

The ring stayed on:

See, you wouldn't have had issues getting aero on those bars if you'd bought a MASH....

52X18 is quite stern for commuting

So the airwings worked with the extensions then? They look much better there than on my steel track frame.

the couple on the bridge:
"timetrialling on that, must be mad"
"shut-up and get your clothes off"

Heh, I took this one first- looks like its the distaff side of the couple who spotted the ill favoured Langer TT bike:
-
• #113
What's up with the name of the bike? Makes me cringe every time I see it.
-
• #114
I'd not really thought about it to be honest, probably from a conversation with an Irish friend of mine- Langer is a slang term in Cork.
What would you prefer that I called it?

Get it in the bin.
-
• #121
I'm going to use it for some time trials, then decide whether or not it turns back into the commuter.
-
• #122
No bin.

• #123
with that very tall headtube it'd make a nice beach cruiser
-
• #124
It would make a nice ornament...
For the inside of THE BIN
