I've just seen the most nauseating advert ever. Some bank advertising their mobile app- idiotic gap yah girl loses her money, calls daddy, daddy makes it alright. If that was my daughter I wouldn't be texting her cash to fritter away finding herself in India or whatever. And then look so happy about it! Unless I'm missing something. Maybe he looks happy because it's delaying her inevitable return to their tedious suburban home. Or maybe I am just too grumpy for tv right now.
