I just got myself a merkur DE and some Geo F Trumper shaving soap, which is really nice, plus three trial packs of blades. Did the first couple of shaves with the merkur blade that came with it, will try the others next week.
I managed to cut myself a bit the first time due to my poor technique, but I think I am getting the hang of it already. On the positive side it goes through my stubble much easier than the 5 bladed shit that clogs up after one pass.
