I need some new road shoes as mine didn't like the little skid stop outside my house last night. They were never quite right anyway.
I was thinking Mavic Avenirs, buy have only read bad to ambivalent things on here. Also read mdcc_tester talking about Lake CX170 as being decent and in a slightly lower price bracket, but having SPD fittings as well as the 3-hole fitting brings out a weird snob in me. Would it really, really be worth shelling out the extra for Sidi Genius, or what else should I consider?
