Yes, that's him. He's always been a road rider but is pretty tasty offroad.

I have some profile aero bars for sells if anyone wants them- I need to get lower at the front than these will allow.
Having issues posting a picture via phone, they are the ones on my Langster.

I have a funny stem you could use to drop the bars. Not oversize though

Oops, it appears I was wrong, the Welsh 25 is on R25/3L (Neath Bank). Fastest 25 mile in the country? NOTE: Not the R25/7 as I previously stated. Sorry for confusion. Original post edited.

24.36 at tonight's Bexley 10, a course PB by 26 secs despite an alternative ending which added a sharp left hand turn and a slightly uphill finish (roadworks). Dodgy old headwind to the turn.
Looking forward to seeing some pics Steve :0)

Rained out for me on the club 10 tonight. I was planning on just doing a roadman effotr on the road bike with no aero gear but got so drenched on the way home from work, I just couldn't face riding out to the start, racing and then riding home again. Finished the fixed gear build in the conservatory and enjoyed a nice chinese and wine instead.

You called :) Didn't ride because I'm on antibiotics again, fekking throat infection has come back third time this year :( so I took some photo's instead.
Good time Sam, everyone reckons that alternate finish adds 15-20 seconds with the extra slow turn and uphill finish
Put some others on here Evening 10 photos

Just read that Michael Hutchinson beat Alex Dowsett in the national 25, by 7 seconds.

(The same race in which Jane Kilmartin got badly injured.)

• #2693
And yes, I consider the National 25 to be one race rather than several.

Ha, exactly what I was thinking. Needs more grimace.

Work have introduced Cyclescheme. I'm quite happy with my road bike, despite it's age and mish-mash of 6400 and 7400, so I was tempted to buy a TT bike.
I turned my Fort in to a fixed TT bike but I have come to the conclusion that the frame is too big to get comfortable on it. I don't want to strip it or sell it due to the history behind it so I'll probably make that into a commuting bike again and get something TT specific.
I can get Ribble's basic TT build with Sram Rival or Shimano 105 for just under £1000, but is it worth it? I was going to get the standard wheels and sell them to put towards buying a disc as I already have a Zipp 440 for the front. Can't spend more than £1000 on the bike.

What other choices do you have?

• #2697
Nothing wrong with using a road bike to TT on.

• #2698
I was taking it easy to the turn :0)

I thought that was hippy at first.
You need to lay off the pies, Sam.
Oh, Dan. Do you ride with Aberystwyth CC? You might know my brother in law.
