With an unlimited goal format, I think it's more important to think about the benefits of playing to a set time rather than the opportunity of scoring lots of goals.
It's having the time to change your game during a game which is the real excitement.
Lets not fear this opportunity to make our game more dynamic just because first to 5 softens the blow of a heavier defeat.
IMO there is nothing to learn for any team from a game first to 5.
