I wasn't wandering, I was wondering. Although I was wandering, incidentally.

Not very stiff unless they are compressed between cable stops.

I've had constant pins and needles in my feet for the last few days. Probably related to saddle angle as that's the only thing I've changed recently and exacerbated by my rubbish cleat positioning, so I'm going to mess around with that stuff, but is there anything I can do to stop my feet feeling like they're about to fall off in the meantime?

that sounds like either a blood flow or nerve issue
would probably rest for a few days, and return the saddle to its non pins and needles inducing position

I read something along the lines of...
Whatever changes you make to cleats/crank length/saddle height/saddle angle etc don't ride too hard for a week or so because you will be using different parts of the muscles involved and they will need a week or so of gentle spinning to get acustomed and whatnot etc.It worked for me.
I changed my cleats and saddle angle at the same time and went straight out to give it the beans and immediately suffered with loss of feeling below the knee on my left side and dead spots on the soles of my feet.
Eased off for a week or two and just span it out and now the adjustments feel really natural. -

Probably shouldn't have done 230 miles in three days as soon as I changed the saddle then. Hmm. That does make sense though, the angle is one I used to ride all the time and found really comfortable but I haven't used it for a while.

Hi sorry if I've posted this in the wrong place.
I've just got this back from the local bike shop. It's a bit of a Heinz variety. I just wanted some advice on the drop outs and chain. Are they too vertical?
Thanks
Nick

Which drawer in the freezer cools beer fastest, top or bottom, and why?
-
• #30115
To me the bottom would make sense as it'd be the coldest place in the freezer - heat rises. Also depends on how much stuff is in the area already

Smoothest?I suppose I'd prioritise longevity and smoothness. The specifications for each of them don't mention any difference in quality, hence my asking

Fridge, definitely.

Replacing an HG40 roughly twice as often as an HG70 would be the best for a given outlay. Buy 3 and get an extra £1 off each, then you'll have spares in the parts bin and won't leave it too long before changing.

Can anyone help me identify the frame or groupset on this:
It's standing in an open shed on my sisters school and I've located the owner. Apparently he doesn't use it much, and, as you can see from the fork crown, it's begun rusting a bit. Fully chromed underneath the the green. The cassette is a 9-speed and it looks modern, compared to the groupset. Black stem says late eighties, early nineties?
How flexible/stiff are nokon outers with a cable in? I was wandering if it would be possible to use three short lengths with a tensioned cable in to make pocket sized gorillapod type thing.
