That was when our internet was down for 4 days, the same 4 days as the riots so I pretty much had the bbc video newsfeed streaming the whole time as it was kicking off in every adjacent town to me, plus I was providing a wifi hotspot for my housemate who was following various other newsfeeds (against the Ts and Cs I know but there were sort of extenuating circumstances)
