I saw the photo! Amazing! That was the pub where the barmaid told us about a “really nice cafe” nearby AKA the cafe in the Esso garage on the main road...
Shame you couldn’t make it – thanks so much for the campsite recommendation, it was great. If you ever go back I would recommend NOT mentioning that you know us, though.

I dunno. I thought we were well behaved.

No idea why she didnt seem to like us.
We didnt make a noise.
We cleaned up after ourselves.
We definitely werent the roughians that she thought we would be. (she sent us to a pub in the opposite direction which was also about 4 miles away when there was a pub outside the main entrance because she didnt want us traipsing through the campsite)
Maybe all the talk of beer, bears and calling her a zombie affected her.

I thought we were excellent campers, she just assumed we were trouble from the outset.

Maybe she WAS a zombie and she was annoyed that we’d sussed her out.

To bad we didnt get a chance to have a go at the derelict building...

There were showers?! I don't think any of us were that extravagant but most of us used the luxurious toilets. I think the windows looking out onto the fields were a nice touch - not often you get a loo with a view.
