• #32
To mess with heads and just be a bit different.
-
• #33
Why not? Is the only question.
He has the know how and skill to build a bike for himself the way he wants to, and it's totally badass :)
I absolutely love it, those stripped argos style forks... wow; and the crankset looks great, adding to the originality of this build. Great work!

Awesome, i love it. I really like those aero cranks too, just want the frame to be painted.

Why paint it when you can draw naked women on the headtube?

Awesome job on the chainring! The lefty drive still looks wrong though (IMHO)
-
• #47
NIce job! And I also don't agree on the lefty.

Those bits are gonna look great on the Pina* with proper drive! Good on the chainring, really clever!
- I have been lusting after one of those GB Pinarello's for a good two years now when they first appeared on Ebay.. Let three of 'm slip through my hands, I remember the name of the man who did got lucky

If done properly (which it looks like you have) left side drive is cool. Not a big fan of the carbon on the chainring though - it just seems silly to add, since it doesn't add anything of value(aside from a very small aero advantage).
I'm beating myself over asking this, but is the frontwheel 650 or 700? In some pictures they look a lot like 650, but after a little googling on the fork, it looks to be 700c? -

The wheels may be going on the pinarello short term, but it won't be this' replacement.
I bought that on a whim, but I suspect it's too small (it's 55tt, 50st, while this is 56tt, 59st) so it may have to get passed on again so you have first dibs if you want them - I have been lusting after one of those GB Pinarello's for a good two years now when they first appeared on Ebay.. unreal.
