  • Although having said that, matching the position of a tall head-tube sportive bike with 0.8 scobles of spacers under the stem is hardly in the back-breaking spirit of lo-pro

Meh. Tis stock. Will slam at some point.

  • Slam is a relative term when you're starting with a Defy :-)

  • My new steed :-)

  • fucking bargain too.

  • For sure. I was hub shopping when that campag 28h front caught my eye, couldn't believe it wasn't going up so I snaffled it. With a few finishing touches should be nice.

  • can i join the club now?

  • real party is this way >>>>

  • spotter - loving that. The clearances/cranks=10/10! Risers not my cuppa though.

  • Following your good advice, swapped the front end for a 650 - it does look right...

I need to sort out the headset and then I'm good to go!

I've nearly finished the Ken James.
Needs cables, headset & spacers and will also change the bars for a standard quill stem.

  • Looks sweet :-)

  • looks so much better. slam that stem and get the bulhorns back on and it till look sweet

  • Just fitted T2s and flipped stem on the MASH.... by Tester's law a lopro is born. Not had time to tape the bars will get photos when I have....

Still plenty of work to do, then.

  • Got (but not yet fitted) the aero seatpost, starfish cranks and looking for some cheap alloy risers an day glow grips. Currently resisting powder coating, because it's just a cheap pub bike, but I'm not sure for how long..

  • Dude, you ain't gonna make a HHSB out of that are you :O?

  • Dude, you ain't gonna make a HHSB out of that are you :O?

If you're talking about the D.Hinde?
I'm aspiring to anti more than HHSB, Shirley the day glo green grips would've made that clear?

  • But why?! It's really nice as it is.

  • Bike looks perfect as it is.

  • But why?! It's really nice as it is.

I've got nice bikes, I want a fun bike (risers = quick fun bmx'esque handling). An it was a ebay bargain, hence I won't really worry about leaving it out.
As with most bikes, it looks better in the photos than it really is. Up close it's a bit ratty.

  • Hmm, it's your bike, so do with it what you want haha ;p

  • Why aspire to ruin a bike?

  • I want a fun bike (risers = quick fun bmx'esque handling)

surely ever with risers a tt bike is never gonna feel bmx'esque...?
