Just checked out those security bolts thinking what a brilliant idea they where and then found out how much they cost... £84 FOR 2 FUCKING BOLTS!!!
Angel, they're going to be expensive, there the best in the biz, if you use ten you are not getting your wheel nicked. You'd pay 160 quid for a Paul hub over a generic chineese one. I don't see why people don't have the same attitude toward security.

New wheels on above, like these American Classics but they need less braking surfaces...

Agree with Apollo on this, the fork on the 'Dale fork looks wank compared to the rest of the frame.

It doesn't make sense to have a lugged fork on a fillet brazed/welded frame, one or the other. I would still keep it like that if i had one though.

I think black carbon forks would look the business. Well that's what I would do.

^^^^ Have to admit thats one of the best looking 'Dale setups I've seen, all it needs is some Wound Ups to finish it off.

it is awesome, the saddle and seat post look a bit lost though

Change the post to a Thomson and you're set!

I don't agree with any of the above, build looks mint, he has got his wheel on backwards though....

It's alu so it's been welded and filed rather than brazed.
Lugged forks make just as much sense on a fillet brazed frame provided it is done sympathetically - there are plenty of pornworthy examples out there. Risers with a negative stem make much less sense ;)
The reason for the forks is because it's an old frame from the early 90s.
The best fit on those frames imo are easton ec90s a la Gabes:

Isn't it the case that the frame is made of aluminium and the forks are made of steel?
Would explain why it doesn't 'fit'. It should also be noted that this was a common practice at a time when aluminium frames where introduced, but they didn't trust the forks yet, so stuck to steel for some time. -

I should think that alu would be a harsh ride back then too, steel's a bit more comfortable, although as its a track frame I don't think it would be that much of a concern!
