Orwell: goal, bibs, the flags, the ice-box, clipboards, LPC banners (Jono)
wood (Bill, Louis, Ryan) - coming Saturday a.m. to Ryan's, then Bill collects Sun very, very fucking a.m. with cargo bike, returns to Ryan's Sunday p.m., collected Mon or Tues, return to?
screws (length?)
multiple cordless drills - Joe
zip-ties - Bill, Chukker
gaffer tape - Bill, Chukker
marker pens
6 X balls - density not yet determined - H Bomb
1 extra ice-box
tape-measure
decent chalk
netting, whistles & stopwatches, line paint, score-cards - Bill
rules & announcement - Joe > Badger
brooms & sweeping - Badger
We still need marker pens, decent quality chalk (not kids stuff), zip-ties, wood screws (no idea what length, perhaps someone could phone Ryan after 12, as he will have the wood in front of him, and will be able to tell us what length).
The screws are REALLY important, as are cordless drills. Without these, we won't be able to board the court, and the playing experience won't be nearly as nice.
Do the courts need more sweeping today? It's likely to be dry this afternoon, so will be less of a chore, than tomorrow morning when it'll be chucking it down.
Can all teams please be prepared to cough over £5, maybe £6 per team to cover costs? Thanks.
Reminder that all teams should be at Newington for 8 for court prep, so that we can start before 9.
